I started Eagle Eyes Editing to offer customized editing and writing solutions for individuals
and businesses seeking help with written collateral. As your editor, I bring more than eight years of professional writing and editing experience
to your project.
I have worked as a copywriter, editor and associate director of editorial at a travel publishing company, as well as managing editor
at an award-winning publishing house. I have also worked as a marketing associate for a technology company, where I created sales
kits and wrote press releases, and as an editorial assistant at Caribbean Travel & Life magazine and Williamson Books.
In 2001, I was awarded an HSMAI Silver Merit Award for a series of hotel and resort newsletters created for Virtuoso. In 2002 and 2003, I served as writer for several other HSMAI-award-winning Virtuoso direct mail series and directories. (HSMAI gives awards for excellence in marketing in the hospitality industry.)
My education includes a B.A. in both English and Psychology from the University of Vermont, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors in the English Department. I have also successfully completed the “Principles of Editing” course at the Harvard University Extension School.
